Mitel Unified Communicator Express
Mitel Unified Communicator® (UC) Express is a lightweight, serverless unified communications client that provides productivity enhancements like click-to-dial, incoming caller ID pop-up, PC-based missed calls and speed calls list, and personal (Microsoft® Outlook®) directory integration.
UC Express provides an innovative telephony toolbar GUI that allows users to manage the functionality of their Mitel IP Phone with speed and ease – directly from the Microsoft Windows taskbar on their PC desktop.
UC Express Softphone* provides similar functionality to UC Express but is aimed at mobile or remote workers, enabling them to become more accessible to customers, management and their co-workers regardless of location.
UC Express is supported on Mitel Communications Director (MCD) or Mitel 5000 Communications Platform (CP). And now, UC Express is available free for every user on MCD (see bulletin PA20100235) or 5000 CP (see bulletin PA20100123).

Mitel Unified Communicator® (UC) Advanced is Mitel’s award-winning unified communications client that integrates presence and availability, secure instant messaging, audio conferencing and web and video collaboration with the call control capabilities of your business communications system. UC Advanced also integrates with leading business productivity tools like Microsoft® Exchange/Outlook® and Office as well as IBM® Lotus Notes®.
